Newsletters can be a great way to get started because they provide a direct connection with your audience, allow you to focus on what you’re truly passionate about, and all you need to start one is, well, you.
Stacey Higginbotham is a veteran journalist who built the hugely influential Internet of Things podcast and newsletter. In this Q&A we’ll find out how to get started, set realistic monetary expectations, and learn what it takes to make a newsletter that gains traction and lasts.
About the Speaker
Stacey Higginbotham has been writing about technology for 20 years in major publications such as Fortune, PCMag, IEEE Spectrum and MIT Technology Review. In 2015, Stacey founded “The Internet of Things Podcast” and a weekly IoT newsletter where she explained the latest IoT news, and tested the latest in consumer IoT devices. She has recently started her own consulting practice, and is working with Consumer Reports on public policy work around security for connected devices.
