Mike Linton knew he needed to make a change. After a storied career in the C-Suites of companies such as Best Buy, eBay and Ancenstry, Linton knew he wanted to take his life in a completely different direction. So he left the corporate world, traded in coastal California living for Ohio, and reinvented himself as a podcast host. He’s still in touch with the C-life through his show CMO Confidential, but he’s living his best life doing work that’s meaningful to him and appreciating his new environs.

Mike Linton is currently the host of CMO Confidential, a weekly podcast on the I Hear Everything Network. Mike has a deep, rich history in business having held numerous marketing, general management, and board of director positions throughout his career. Most recently, he served as Ancestry’s Chief Revenue Officer where he led consumer and product marketing with a focus on profitable growth and building a global brand. Prior to that, he served for 8years as the Chief Marketing Officer of Farmers Insurance where his responsibilities included marketing, research, internal and external communications, customer experience and the company’s digital efforts. He also served as CMO of eBay and as Best Buy’s first ever Chief Marketing Officer.
